Grandma was complicated. She presented as the sweetest, most innocent old lady alive – but inside, she was a manipulative, conspiracy-peddling, morphine-addicted hypochondriac who claimed to be allergic to anything charbroiled, incapable of sweating after surviving her second lightning strike, and once faked needing a wheelchair for over a year for attention (If you want the outrageous bits, you'll have to see the show).
