After studying graphic design and training as a pilot, Jan Van Der Veken is now recognised as one of the most distinctive Belgian illustrators. His retro-futurist style has graced covers for the New Yorker and most recently, illustrated titles for older children. Jan will discuss his career to date, his passion for art and illustration, and how there is no one path to getting into books. You can also try your hand at your own creative making!
