The morning after the world premiere of Mary, Queen of Scots, join Scottish Ballet company dancers as they prepare for a 'double show day'.
To keep their bodies at peak fitness, the dancers take class six days a week. Class begins at the barre (a wooden rail) with strengthening and stretching. The dancers then move into the centre of the studio (or stage) where they practice combinations of steps, jumps, and turns, all performed to live piano.
