Join author Jeremy Atherton Lin (described in the New York Times as having ‘a five-octave, Mariah Carey-esque range for discussing gay sex’) to explore how we can express authentic intimacy on the page. How can we depict sex as meaningful, even political – and sometimes pretty funny? Can we honour, not exploit, our lovers? Atherton Lin will share novels and memoirs that have inspired his own work, and hone in on the craft of the close encounter. Participants of all gender identities and sexual orientations welcome.
