Join us for a free deaf-led tour in British Sign Language at the National (Royal Scottish Academy). Experience the power of the portrait in this first solo exhibition of Opie’s work in Scotland and consider what it is to be seen. Led by Trudi Collier, you will have the chance to socialise, explore art together and share your ideas.

The tour will be conducted in BSL, without interpretation.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. There is a step-free accessible entrance to the rear of the Royal Scottish Academy building with lift access to the exhibition.

***The event that was scheduled for Saturday 8 August has been cancelled. The event on Saturday 15 will go ahead as planned.***

BSL and IS descriptions of this event are available at the Edinburgh Deaf Festival website.
