National Makar Peter Mackay knows that words come to us slightly battered and dented. What do we do with these imperfect tools? How do we put them together in meaningful, powerful ways? How do we harness their ‘usedness’ to change what our minds might say? In this poetry workshop, explore different means of changing our (and others’) minds, re-envisioning words and images, deciding what’s for the chop, and what can be repurposed to create new, imaginary worlds.
