The UK’s first Black female publisher and editor of groundbreaking anthologies Daughters of Africa and New Daughters of Africa – it’s hard to overstate Margaret Busby’s impact on literary culture these last 50 years. It is an honour to welcome her to the Festival. Busby joins us to discuss her life’s work as a champion of Black voices and Part of the Story, which charts her journey from precocious girl in Ghana to publishing pioneer. Chaired by Hannah Chukwu.
