Over a decade ago and a few miles south of Edinburgh, Kate Kerning completed a doctorate in literature that she resigned herself to never using. Now, her overabundance of degrees have found a new home in song writing. Reincarnation and Other Myths is a free tour of Kate's rediscovery of language and music outside of academia, featuring all original songs for guitar and voice: intricate, compelling acoustic songs about everything from Greek mythology, to borrowed grief, to doomed 19th-century Arctic explorers.
