There is no beginning, as there is no end is a new solo commission by Richard Maguire: the first in the Time + Space early-career artist programme. Primarily working in drawing and sculpture, Maguire’s practice considers power relations through histories and representations of race and sexuality between Britain and South Asia. Referring to archives and material culture, Maguire explores the legacy of historical systems of oppression.
