Blending satire and social commentary, Bird creates intricate, provocative compositions that expand ceramic traditions through storytelling, humour, and sharp cultural observation.

Developed through recent travels in Scotland and Europe, the work engages with cultural exchange, political histories, and artistic traditions, from Dundee’s connections with Palestine, to encounters with historic collections in Rome.
