Join Collective Gallery to celebrate a newly commissioned text by London-based artist and writer Oluwatobiloba Ajayi, who was selected by Maguire to creatively respond to the exhibition. The event will include live readings by Ajayi alongside Ayoade Bamgboye, Alycia Pirmohamed, and Leo Bussi. Refreshments will be provided.
There is no beginning, as there is no end is a new solo commission by Richard Maguire: the first in the Time + Space early-career artist programme. Primarily working in drawing and sculpture, Maguire’s practice considers power relations through histories and representations of race and sexuality between Britain and South Asia.
