Festies is back

Festies is back! Take a look around, enjoy it, really breathe it in. We’ve got images now, so that’s new. In fact the whole design has changed. And there’s avatars! All kinds of things have changed. Maybe not remarkable things – not in 2026 – but they’re new and exciting in this corner of the internet. This is something of a soft launch this week, which I gather is what you call it when a site is technically live but you feel a little bit embarrassed about some of the rougher corners. In Edinburgh Festival terms, it's putting “WIP” in brackets at the end of your show title. It’s a request for tolerance. Later this week I’ll begin to tell people that the site is live again, and if you’re seeing this why not tell some people too? It’s no longer invitation-only! This year anyone can join.
