17-year-old Christy has been kicked out of his latest foster home and is stuck staying with his hotheaded half-brother Shane. Met with many estranged family members, the past begins to catch up with him. The neighbourhood of Knocknaheeny provides many paths for Christy to go down but he must decide which will serve him best in this beautifully shot social realist feature debut which brings soul and heart to its story of hardships and coming of age. An emotional, authentic and community-driven Irish film as witty as it is tender.
