Join Early Career Artist-in-Residence Hamish Halley and artist Louise Fraser at the EAF Pavilion for a guided, audio described talk and sharing session discussing Halley’s work exhibited at The People’s Story Museum for EAF25.

Hamish Halley presents a poignant video piece that intertwines two narratives: the intimate act of cleaning his grandparents’ home after their passing and the monumental transition of the Perth Museum’s collection to a new space.

During August, the film work will be hosted by The People’s Story, a museum dedicated to capturing the lives of working class people in Edinburgh throughout history. Situated amongst the Museum’s displayed tools of work, printed flyers and posters, and tableaux depicting scenes from day-to-day life, Halley’s film reflects on custodianship, preservation, loss, and renewal.
