Keynote Talks
The power of creative defiance comes alive in this debate on what it means to be an artist today.
Hear from a panel made up of leading artists and advocates as they navigate how to tackle the rising issues with artistic freedom in their practice. Simon Fanshawe – co-founder of the lobby group Stonewall and current University of Edinburgh rector – chairs the panel. No stranger to our sister festivals, he appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for ten years and won the Perrier Award for Comedy in 1989.
