Updates

The calendar is very useful

I keep updating the site, and I’m not always staying on top of making updates about it all here. I'm sorry! But that’s probably better than managing to keep scrupulous records but not really updating the site. However! There have been a few really good improvements that you should know about.

One big one is the calendar.

It is what it sounds like: a list of the the events you have logged in chronological order. However! It's actually more useful than that suggests.

You can see what you've got coming up, and that's nice:

A screenshot of part of the calendar page showing some booked shows on a particular day

But you can also see the shows you have logged as 'interested', which makes it much easier to see what you could fit into the gaps between what you've already booked. (By default it hides shows you're interested in but that clash with booked shows.)

It's extremely handy, and I think only going to be more so during August.

You can also do fancy stuff like get the distances from one event to any of the other events you’ve logged for that day.

Anyway, log a few shows and then go look at the calendar, you’ll have a good time.
